Job description
The Business Analytics & Reporting Manager is responsible for using business and statistical data to suggest methods of improving business operations and client value delivery. The Manager will research and analyze external markets to determine effective business strategies. The Manager is also responsible for writing and presenting reports to management and recommending efficient strategic marketing and planning techniques. This position provides critical support to the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring smooth, efficient, and effective execution of core business activities. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational workflows, streamline processes, and contribute to overall organizational performance.

Responsibilities
Manage across multiple teams and projects concurrently to ensure successful completion of analytics projects
Create compelling presentations, which tell a story around operations effectiveness and value delivery, demonstrating their value by providing actionable insights with recommendations
Serve as primary contact on all phases of the reporting and analytics projects from problem definition through presentation, appropriately managing stakeholder expectations throughout the project.
Defines analytics and reporting strategy and plan for the business organization
Ensures strong operational processes are in place to deliver across all areas of responsibility
Integrates work with other teams across the organization, including serving as the primary point of contact for IT engagement on areas impacting the overall data foundation
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
5 years experience in delivering business analytics and reporting projects;
Deep knowledge of risk adjustment models and calculations for Medicare Advantage and Affordable Care Act strongly preferred
Strong executive-level client facing skills and the ability to communicate complex analytical concepts with confidence to a non-technical executive audience
Experience with strategic planning using quantitative techniques
Experience ramping up analytics programs, including integrating with other teams to ensure analytics approach is aligned with strategy and available data
Expertise selecting context-appropriate modeling, analysis, and reporting techniques, with hands-on skills with common analytics techniques
Ability and willingness to take a hands-on execution role where required to support client needs and team development
Highly organized with an ability to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
Strong communication skills and the ability to present analytical and technical concepts with confidence and in an easy-to-understand fashion
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree a strong plus in a relevant field including Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent experience
