Job description



The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for managing and developing client reporting. They will organize data points, develop client reporting, communicate between upper management and the IT department, and analyze data to determine the company’s needs. The Senior Business Analyst will also gather, analyze, and compile data to create reporting and present any trends or patterns that might need the Clients attention.



Responsibilities

  • Evaluate Client performance to ensure that targets and deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with business owners to identify and document business requirements for reporting needs.
  • Create Client Reporting and dashboards to track progress of program.
  • Assist in the design and execution of process enhancements.
  • Build relationship with key business owners/departments to gain an understanding of overall business unit direction.
  • Summarizes Client reports for review by executives, managers, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Assesses market strategies by analyzing related products, industry standards, or trends.
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with professional organizations, suppliers, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals.
  • Develop and maintain report documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform root cause analysis to resolve issues, recommend and implement solutions to identified problems.
  • Implement data quality controls, conduct reasonableness checks, and validate data within reporting processes.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job requirements


  • Proven experience as a business analyst.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • 4+ years of SQL experience
  • 4+ years of Risk adjustment (ACA and/or MA)
  • Quality/HEDIS experience preferred.
  • Looker or Tableau Experience preferred.
  • Ability to collect and compile relevant data.
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically.
  • Strong business analysis skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a structured and unstructured environment.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Thorough understanding of the company’s business processes and the industry at large.
  • Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (or equivalent experience)
